Myota

Myota is a Text-Adventure Player/Editor for free.

You can write your Text-Based-Adventure (actual only with notepad etc.) and play them (or send them to your friends).

Features in the Game:

- Switch between 2 languages (atm only in the main Menu)

- One Textbox and up to 3 costum Answer-Buttons

- One "End" Page for the Credits of your Story

- Open a Adventure File and Play it (at the moment only a test story)

-C ostum Images on every Storypage

Planned Features:

- Full playable Story (german and english)

- Full working Editor (at this moment you can only write your Storys with Notepad)

- A Platform to Share your Storys

- Variables for your Story

-Safe your Storys

How a Storyfile works:

- Create a Folder with the title.

- Create a new textfile (*.txt) in this folder with the Name "story.txt".

- Row 1-20 is for the Story info:

1. Story Title (feel free to type your title)
2. THIS IS A GAMEFILE! (don't change it)
10. This Row is for your Credits at the End.

The rest to row 20 is for later.

The next 10 rows are one page. (Page1=21-30, Page2=31-40, ...)

• *1 = "img\bg_text.bmp" | path in your storyfolder to the background img (if you don't have any type "default" without "".
• *2 = Maintext | You can write here the big text on this page.
• *3 = Numer of Answers | Type "1", "2" or "3" without ""
• *4 = Text for Answer 1
• *5 = Text for Answer 2
• *6 = Text for Answer 3
• *7 = Pagelinknumber for Answer 1*
• *8 = Pagelinknumber for Answer 2*
• *9 = Pagelinknumber for Answer 3*
• *0 = default | path in your storyfolder to the button img (if you don't have any type "default" without "".
  
  *So you can find your Pagelinknumer:
  Example: Page 1 = 21-30
  First Row is: 21
  21 - 11 = 10
  10 / 10 = 1
  
  21-30 is 1

Same for Row 311 - 320
311 - 11 = 300
300 / 10 = 30

Row 311-320 is Page 30

This is my first "Game" i ever made and it's just for me and other people who have some fun with it.
